During January-July 2026, nearly 215 thousand declarations of property status and income were submitted by individuals. Declared income for the past year totals 323.9 billion UAH. This represents an increase of 16 billion UAH compared to the same period in 2025.

This information was reported by the press service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that the number of submitted declarations increased by 5 thousand compared to January-July 2025.
Citizens have determined over 6 billion UAH of personal income tax and 2.6 billion UAH of military levy to be paid to the budget.
Tax liabilities exceeding 1 million UAH were declared by 1025 citizens. Of these, 72 individuals determined payments exceeding 10 million UAH, and 8 citizens – over 100 million UAH. The largest amount of tax liabilities – 760.7 million UAH – was declared by a resident of Kyiv.
A declaration can serve not only as a basis for tax payment but also for partial refunds from the budget. Citizens may be eligible for a tax deduction if they incurred expenses during the year that qualify for such a benefit.

The PSM editorial team notes that the declaration dynamics indicate not only an increase in the sums processed through the voluntary reporting system but also a more significant role of large private incomes in forming tax revenues. However, this data should not be interpreted as a complete picture of Ukrainians’ incomes: the declaration campaign covers only those citizens who have a corresponding obligation or voluntarily submit a declaration, particularly for obtaining a tax deduction.
