Denys Verhun, who serves as the editor-in-chief of Speka, has also taken on the role of editor-in-chief for the unified editorial team of three publications within the “Digital Economy” media group, which includes Speka, MC: Money & Career, and The Page, starting from August of this year. He shared this news on his Facebook page on Thursday.

“Let me get straight to the main point: this will not affect Speka in any way. I will continue to personally lead the editorial team as before. This new role signifies an expansion of my responsibilities,” he wrote.

According to him, these changes are a result of the mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the media group’s operational director, Vitaliy Novak, and the editor-in-chief of The Page, Oleksiy Baturin.

“I thank them for their service and eagerly await their return home,” Verhun emphasized.

He also mentioned that Maria Babenko will now serve as the deputy editor-in-chief for The Page, and Yaroslav Holoborodko will lead as the deputy editor-in-chief for MC: Money & Career.

“They have been working within their respective teams for a long time and have demonstrated their ability to advance their publications. Now, Maria and Yaroslav will be my deputies for their respective areas,” noted the editor-in-chief of the unified editorial team of the three publications.

He clarified that his objective in his new capacity will be to strengthen each of the three publications within its specific niche. The editorial team plans to leverage shared resources where it proves effective, particularly in the preparation of interviews, special projects, analytical materials, and expertise.
